Aasham Defeats the Third Dark Slayer

Aasham meets the Dark Slayer at the Shrine of Spirituality

The Shrine of Spirituality proves to be too popular a spot and the Dark Slayer vanishes with a crash of lightening.  We despair our Aasham's clear lead will be lost as the Slayer does not heal himself during battle.

Aasham receives a pigeon and the battle resumes at the 

Shrine of Sacrifice.  

The Dark Slayer is soon at his mercy and Aasham offers quarter.

The slayer asks for and gives no quarter.  Soon he lies dead.

Scaramandine the Elder appears and offers grudging congratulations.

Scaramandine the Elder appears at the Brazen Monkey Tavern and confirms the answer to the fourth riddle.

With some loss of life the fourth book is secured and the fourth clue found--the word is "plate."
